Being an Ambassador to local biohacking or academic communities
VitaDAO has a lot to offer academia and communities of biohackers. Supporting academia was the reason we started the DAO — to provide early stage funding and help valuable research get over the valley of death. We aim to be the place where researchers, biohackers, and curious minds gather to learn about the latest actionable and translational science, and form tight-knit action driven communities with longevity at heart.
As a VitaDAO Ambassador, we appreciate your help being a bridge between VitaDAO and your local community. Some examples of how you can contribute as an Ambassador:
- Encourage new people to become dealflow contributors, help source and evaluate longevity projects
- Encourage new talent to participate in the Longevity Prize
- Encourage the use of our longevity journal, The Longevist
- Scout and recruit talented contributors for VitaDAO’s open positions
You’re a good fit if
- You consider yourself a biohacker
- You are a student, grad student, or postdoc in longevity or related disciplines
- You have an academia position (such as a professorship) in longevity or related disciplines
- You are well-connected to a community of biohackers and longevity enthusiasts
- You are well-connected to the academic community related to longevity or similar disciplines (such as a deeptech accelerator)
- You are active in student clubs, groups, or academic societies in longevity or related topics
- Remember, you don’t have to meet all of these criteria! They are suggestions, not requirements.
