You will be taking a crucial part in advancing the projects in our portfolio and spinning them out as a co-founder or EIR. The environment is fast paced, puts an enormous amount of responsibility in your hands, and has the potential to result in the creation of new therapeutics that could help billions of people.

Your Responsibilities
- Help accelerate the projects we’ve funded towards the next inflection point
- Incubate ground-breaking science that could be used to start a new company and generate new opportunities for VitaDAO
- Support entire deal making process for potential portfolio companies
- Define preclinical and clinical projects to be pursued by this new company
- Build a research plan, clinical development plan, and budget for this new company together with other members of VitaDAO’s extended team
- Assess the regulatory and IP landscape for a scientific area of interest
- Take on the CEO/CFO/COO/CSO mantle at portfolio companies as needed and speak about the company products and research with a founder-level confidence
- Fundraise for the spinouts in our portfolio
- Work with other entrepreneurs in our community on operational and strategic issues for portfolio companies
What you bring
- Significant entrepreneurial experience, preferably in the biotech space, and understanding of the due diligence process for early-stage startups
- Resourcefulness, relentlessness, open-mindedness
