Being an Ambassador to your local web3/DeSci communities
VitaDAO has a lot to offer Web3 and DeSci communities worldwide. We are one of the earliest DeSci projects, and certainly the most successful one, having funded, incubated, and held longevity-related intellectual properties.
As a VitaDAO Ambassador, we appreciate your help being a bridge between VitaDAO and your local community. Some examples of how you can contribute as an Ambassador:
- Encourage new people to become a contributor and/or participate in our governance when a new governance season starts
- Promote and answer questions related to IP-NFT fractionalization (VITA-FAST is the on-going fractionalization)
- Encourage new talent to participate in the Longevity Prize
- Scout and recruit talented contributors for VitaDAO’s open positions
You are a good fit if
- You are passionate about DeSci
- You have worked in one or more DeSci projects
- You have organized local DeSci chapters, events, conferences, and meetup
- You are well-connected to the DeSci community in your location
- You are well-connected to local universities, labs, or academic institutions and are curious about DeSci
- You are well-connected to the local web3 communities (maybe you have organized meetups or conferences) and are curious about DeSci
- Remember, you don’t have to meet all of these criteria! They are suggestions, not requirements.
What can I do as an Ambassador?
As a Web3/DeSci Ambassador, your main responsibilities are:
- Organizing events and meetups, especially around Web3 events in your city
- Be the local contact point between local web3 and DeSci communities and VitaDAO
- Represent VitaDAO at local or nearby web3 conferences
Organizing events
To make event organizing as easy as possible, we have defined the types of events we would like to see. We also provided a playbook for each event and all the materials you would need.
